Poillé has retained its rural character in a hilly, green landscape.

The old village of Poillé, with its colourful shutters, along the Vègre. Built on an ancient feudal motte, Poillé was established in the 4th century along the route linking Normandy to Anjou and the river Vègre, a source of energy and life.
