Owned by local lords, the Malicorne mills passed into the hands of Jean Loyseau around 1747, who founded the 1st earthenware factory.
Now leave the Port and take rue de Sévigné.
Continue towards the Malicorne exit. After the roundabout, turn right onto the track leading to La Maussidé. Continue along this road.
The path leads to a small gravel road. Turn left and continue as far as "Balançon". A road leads to a crossroads. Take the one on the left. At the crossroads, turn left. At the crossroads, follow the path to the right to retrace your steps.
At "La Petite Auberge", turn right towards the Roman church.
Join the river. Follow the Sarthe as far as the old pumping station. Cross the D23 and take the path opposite the Chiloup chapel. Head towards the village, walk along the railway line and return to the starting point.
