The CPIE Vallées de la Sarthe et du Loir is organising three events to help you understand the roles of hedgerows and their close links with agriculture. These events will offer you the chance to discover hedgerows throughout the seasons in the Pays Vallée de la Sarthe region.
For our second event, join us on Tuesday 25 August 2026 directly at the farm: the Chêne Beunard goat farm in Voivres-lès-le-Mans, starting at 6 pm.

Hedgerows are not simply a key feature of our landscape; they are also rich natural habitats that can help manage pests and vermin in our crops and contribute significantly to the welfare of livestock. The landscape of tomorrow is being shaped today – come and immerse yourself, if only for a moment, in the world of biodiversity and agriculture. We’ll take the opportunity to focus on pollarded trees.
