Blending into the background is the aim of the Invisible Jumpers series, for which Joseph Ford has hand-knitted custom-made jumpers. He explores the tension between individuality and conformity, mass consumption and artisanal creation. "On social networks, we want to assert our differences. On the other hand, we are all subject to the same influences, and cultural homogeneity is spreading ever faster. We blend in with the masses".
