Description
A festive and convivial afternoon featuring two performances to bring the LBN Communauté cultural season to a close
Show No. 1, ‘Avec un Grand F’, by the theatre company ‘Les Gamettes’ // Theatre
Pirates, Pharaoh Queens, Nobel Laureates in Science, Activists, Female Politicians, Astronauts, Female Sportspersons...This is History with a capital H, featuring incredible yet real women, with a capital F! Here, there are no lectures, but rather a gallery of eight portraits, illustrated with chalk drawings and a host of theatrical touches drawn from the world of farce.
Drawing on real events, the two authors and actresses weave an inspiring narrative in support of gender equality.
Show No. 2: ‘Brother Kawa’ by the ‘Ernesto Barytoni’ Company // Music
Whilst on an unlikely journey across the four corners of the globe, Raphaëlo and Moricio pull up for a quick stop at the wheel of the ‘Kawa-Mobile’ (top speed: 18 km/h): a microcar towing the world’s smallest stage! With a talent bordering on the absurd, they offer a personal and rather rough-and-ready reinterpretation of songs you thought you knew.
A musical, burlesque and exhilarating journey around the world, punctuated by bizarre anecdotes featuring the Becq-sur-Yvonne polyclinic, the Polish national anthem, Monique, devilled eggs, the Queen of England, Diego Maradona (whom they seem to have mistaken for an ice-cream seller), a freestyle session and a mirror ball!
