For the fifth consecutive year, the Paris Opera is pleased to offer a new recording at a unique screening in the Micro-Folie network, on Friday 12 December 2025 at 8pm.

"What is love today?" asked Angelin Preljocaj in 1994, when he created Le Parc for the Opéra national de Paris. Thirty years later, the world has changed again, but his timeless ballet has travelled the world.

In a French-style garden, the choreographer draws us into the games of seduction of the Grand Siècle and the Age of Enlightenment by invoking our classical musical and literary imagination: famous pages by Mozart, Carte du Tendre and Dangerous Liaisons.

But Angelin Preljocaj frees himself from tradition by introducing a contemporary soundtrack and a choreographic grammar made up of broken lines and sensual impulses.

Like the final pas de deux, in which the bodies whirl around for a languorous kiss: a moment of grace that has become the signature of this ballet.
