Balad'Expo : 10 ans de reconstitution historique au Manoir de La Cour

As soon as the Manoir de La Cour was opened to the public in April 2016, the Confrérie de la Quintefeuille, a historical re-enactment association, came to show visitors what daily life was like in the early 15th century. The following year, 2017, saw the launch of the Rendez-vous du Moyen Âge, a series of theme-based events.

Far from the clichés with which the medieval period is associated, the Rendez-vous du Moyen Âge were designed to break away from this "medieval" image and shed light on a long, rich, complex, colourful and exciting period.

59 Rendez-vous du Moyen Âge events have been held at Manoir de La Cour since 2017, bringing together more than 10,000 visitors, from medieval history enthusiasts to the curious, as well as members of the public looking for a fun day out.

In this exhibition, you can relive 10 years of historical re-enactment at the Manoir de La Cour through a selection of photographs. It's an opportunity to discover the variety of themes and periods covered.
