Using ceramics, the visual arts students explore the relationship between surface and depth: what protects, what reveals, what marks. Skin is both boundary and memory. It bears the traces of time, gestures, social norms and desires for expression. What does it mean to wear? What do we choose to show? What are we trying to hide?
