Between surface and depth, the students explore skin as memory and expression, where ceramics become a reflection of what we choose to show or hide.

In partnership with the Conservatoire Hélène-Affichard, Sablé-sur-Sarthe Using ceramics, the visual arts students explore the relationship between surface and depth: what protects, what reveals, what marks. Skin is both boundary and memory. It bears the traces of time, gestures, social norms and desires for expression. What does it mean to wear? What do we choose to show? What are we trying to hide? In dialogue with the museum, this exhibition highlights the surface as a space for expression, where the skin - real or symbolic - becomes the medium for plastic writing.
