Description
This Sarthe by bike route winds its way through rolling countryside before passing through the charming villages of Avoise and Asnières-sur-Vègre.
The route then heads for Solesmes, where the Benedictine Abbey of Saint-Pierre, overlooking the Sarthe, will astonish you with its imposing architecture. The route continues on to Sablé-sur-Sarthe, a confluence town famous for its biscuits. From there, you can head back to the Mayenne and rejoin the Vélo Francette.
