A walled vegetable garden of classical design (centred, geometric and symmetrical), restored in 1997, forming part of a vast regular composition. (Listed site).

The Ministry of Culture awarded the "Jardin Remarquable" label in January 2006, and the Villaines kitchen garden also received the 2005 Grand Prix at the National Competition for French Kitchen Gardens, awarded by the SNHF in November 2005.
The château is open by appointment and for groups of at least 10 people:
- from 1 June to 31 July,
- from 1 to 30 September.
Open at weekends during the “Rendez-vous aux Jardins” and “European Heritage Days” from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
