The Marble Ecomuseum retraces the history of marble quarrying in the Sablé sur Sarthe region.
The Ecomusée retraces the history of marble quarrying in the Sablé region from the 17th to the 20th century. A visit to the museum allows you to discover the quarries, the marble factories, marble working, the tools used and the different creations. The tour lasts around 1 hour 15 minutes and includes a video recounting the development of marble quarrying over the years.
