  • This route will take you through varied and relaxing landscapes, both watery and rural, typical of the Sarthe valley; through woodland passages that cross the Bois de l'Hommeau; and also through the historic site of Parcé.

  • The historic town of Parcé can be visited at the start or end of the tour, with its typical narrow streets and 15th-century houses.

    The tour starts at the main entrance to the church. Join the Place de la République and admire the 11th-century tower. Leave the old stables on your left, then take the rue basse and go down the rue du Moulin.

    After following the banks of the river through the lands of Courbeton and a riding school, you will come to the Port d'Avoise rest area, which offers beautiful views of the village and, when the vegetation allows, the Perrine de Cry manor house.

    Continue towards the Bois de l'Hommeau and the Croix Ste Antoine to reach the Solesmes tourist route.

    At the cross turn left towards Parcé.
