Asnières sur Vègre, Petite Cité de Caractère. It is said to be the most beautiful village in the Sarthe.

All the characteristics of a harmonious and attractive site are here: shady banks, old houses from the 15th to 17th centuries, 13th-century manor house, castle, manor houses, picturesque bridge... Not forgetting the impressive medieval murals in the little parish church that have made the village famous. Guided tour of the village by prior arrangement. Church currently closed for fresco restoration work.
