Small Renaissance manor house saved from oblivion!
The Manoir de la Danière is a small manor house belonging to a rural seigneury dating from the early 16th century, located in the commune of Amné-en-Champagne. It is made up of a simple main building with an architectural décor that marks a transition between the flamboyant Gothic and the early Renaissance periods. One fireplace is based on the Florentine model, which dates back to Verrochio and Leonardo da Vinci. The exterior decorative elements of the 16th-century bay and the entire room containing the fireplace are included on the supplementary list of historic monuments.
