Théâtre « Les Midinettes » de Jacques Hadjaje

Today, in the centre of France. The "Marilou" factory, one of the jewels in the crown of women's underwear production, is closing its doors. Its two hundred workers - seamstresses, formerly known as "midinettes" - are being made redundant. Determined to fight for their jobs and their dignity, they decided to occupy the factory. Les midinettes tells the story of this twenty-seven-day epic, made up of laughter and cries of anger, disillusionment and bursts of hope. They tell the story of a struggle for life.
